A little bit about me

Greetings! I am the director/owner of a youth theatre/dance company, who loves working with children. I teach voice, acting and piano currently. I also tutor primary as well as secondary math, ELA and science. I have my bachelor's degree in theatre and dance and a masters in K-8 education. I am looking for a part time nannying job to supplement my income while also helping out families looking for someone who would love to take your child to the zoo, museums, and other fun and educational activities. I enjoy the outdoors and have a clean driving record.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have previously taught at Childtime Learning Centers where I worked in newborn - school age classrooms. I currently work as a choreographer for Wayne MS, and have previously worked as a theatre director/choreographer at many local schools. I also previously taught at two local dance studios as well as several theatre companies in the area
During the Covid pandemic, I was hired as a private tutor for a second grade boy. I created science curriculum for him to supplement the work being sent home.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor walks/hikes, visiting the zoo, Strong Museum, RMSC, special exhibits, daytime theatre and music performances, baking, science experiments, crafts, making music, building toys like LEGOs and reading.
