Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Minot N.Dak. Daddy's daycare. I worked with the Family who owned Daddy's daycare for many years. We had newborn babies, up to Head start age children. I loved working with the different age groups. Newborn babies in particular. They're so precious and require constant attention, love and nurturing, which I have an abundance of!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play out doors with the children I'm tending to. Fresh air and imagination, and we'll have the time of our lives. If in nature, well look for special things in nature. Leaves. Berries, insects.
Fingerpaints are a lot of fun to do indoors or out. Art projects, read stories, take walks etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To be honest and kind. Treat all the children with patience and always always listen and help them with their every need, while growing with them teach them values and to be kind and to forgive. Your heart must be huge, with an almost need, to help them grow to their full potential. Love them like your own.

My experience with special needs children...

My little sweet friend, Shannon, so darn sweet. She is paralyzed with some use of her upper body. I bathed, fed and dressed her daily. We cooked together, well, she watched. She had to have help getting to the restroom and proper hygiene was an indicator of my expertise and care I took of her. She relied on me for all necessary daily needs. Stimulation and positive reinforcement were excellent tools needed to care for special needs children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When the kids all line up to get there good bye hugs and kisses and allll of the kids are present and waiting patiently. All wanting me to be ok and happy and promising I'd see them all the next day!!
