My name is Tiranke Diakite, born and raised in the Bronx. I am a college student who attends SUNY Geneseo. I have 4 sisters making me the oldest out of them all. I currently have a toddler sister who is 2 years old in the house which I love taking care of due to the fact that I love kids with my heart and wish to have some of my own when I get older. I also have experience with taking care of kids because the job I use to have. Read Alliance is a student organization that was put into place for people to help the youth after school hours with their homework. I made sure that they were rewarded when they did a good job and always made positive comments about the things that they did. I’m really looking to take care of someone kid(s) without parents having to worry about not making it to work or etc. My job is to take care of your kids while you're gone.

I was a student staff at my old job at a school located downtown. I worked for this company called Read Alliance and I was responsible for helping the kids with their homework, giving them words of positivity, and making them feel comfortable with me. I also did student activities with them and would reward them if they did good.

I like going for walks, going to the park, mini trips, and small errands. I think that it’s important that kids get to engage in small things like that to increase their social life.
