I’m all about learning through play! Outdoor play & hands on crafts are my favorite. Making songs, painting, crafting, playing outdoors, dress up, sports, music (I played French Horn & Cello), cheerleading & gymnastics (Competitive cheerleader 15+ yrs), fishing, hiking, beach days, museums are personal favorite!.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Compassion, patience, ENERGY!, and a great senses of humor! Your sometimes their first exposure to the world and we have to carry the honor carefully. Interacting through play, sports, science, music, and arts are the least we can do to equip them with the tools they need early to become AMAZING humans!
My experience with special needs children...
My mom was a special needs teacher all my life so I have worked in the classroom with her and learning the learning and communication techniques. Bonding over free play was the most rewarding.
