The most important part about being a nanny is caring for the children, making them smile, laugh, be comfortable around you, & making them feel welcomed . Making the parents feel trustworthy of you, & love you just as much as the children should .
My experience with special needs children...
I have never cared for a special needs child, but I have been around some pretty cool ones, & are friends with some at my school . I wouldn’t mind baby-sitting them, but I don’t really prefer it because my lack of experience with them .
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most horrific most memorable moment was when I was holding my baby cousin above me (who was about 8 months at the time), & he actually spit up all over me, & it was really disgusting, but I just got up, & cleaned the both of us up . My immediate reaction was to get sick, but he was just a baby, so it happens .
