A little bit about me

I am a young 64 year old, I keep up with the best of them. I love the outdoors. I feel that it’s important to have children outside at least once a day to get the fresh air and explore. I love helping children use their imagination. I have even videoed the children using their imagination so that the parents can see what they’ve done during the day while they’re with me, I think it’s important to let the parents know that their children are not being set down in front of the television instead I will keep them busy playing and learning. I have also learned in the time that I’ve spent here on this earth that children also teach us, things like take a minute and observe what God has created here on earth, patience, and unconditional love.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I ran a home DayCare in Kentucky for four years and before that I was a full time nanny for two children, I took care of the two children for about five years. Went through a divorce and that brought me back down to Florida, which is my home, I found myself working at a church daycare, and I worked there for around three years before the church got sold, and they closed the daycare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Usually if the children our school-age the first thing that I do is sit down and help them with their homework and if they’re too young for school, then we have an imaginary school at home which includes learning how to tell time arts and crafts
I don’t just set children in front of a TV set,

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is showing the children love and patients and understanding and Setting a good example for the children because they are the future of our world and hopefully they will make a difference because we sure could use it

My experience with special needs children...

I have only one experience in this field and the child Had autism, my daughter-in-law and her own business and behavioral and the only people that she treats our children who have autism so I can always get really good advice from her she’s very good at what she does

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments and being a nanny is when I have taught something to A child whether it’s how to spell a new word or learned a different color or if they have a pool teach them how to swim and when the parents get home and can see this and I see how pleased they are and how happy the children are then I know I’ve done my job and that is very important to me
