The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust, creating a loving environment, and fostering a sense of security and stability for the children in my care. It's about being present, supportive, and engaged, while also encouraging independence, exploration, and growth. Ultimately, it's about making a positive impact on the child's life and helping them develop into happy, confident, and well-rounded individuals.
My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my 23 years of experience working with children, I've had the opportunity to care for kids with various needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and speech or language disorders. I've worked closely with these children to develop individualized strategies that support their unique needs, and I've seen firsthand the positive impact that tailored care and attention can have on their growth and development. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and creativity in meeting the diverse needs of the children in my care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for, who was initially shy and hesitant to try new things, finally gained the confidence to ride a bike without training wheels. Seeing the pride and joy on their face as they rode down the sidewalk, feeling the wind in their hair, was truly unforgettable. It was a moment of pure triumph and a reminder of the impact that patience, encouragement, and support can have on a child's life. Moments like these make all the hard work worth it and remind me why I love being a nanny.

For as long as I can remember, taking care of kids has been second nature to me. Growing up with four siblings and over thirteen cousins, I found myself as a built-in nanny, often stepping into a caregiving role. This experience has shaped me into a caring and loving individual who treats every child with the same affection and dedication I would offer my own family.
