Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience caring for multiple children at the same time, including a 1-year-old, 5-year-old who is deaf, 7-year-old, and 14-year-old with disabilities. I was responsible for supervising all of the children simultaneously while ensuring each child’s individual needs were met. I also planned and accompanied the children on field trips and outings to places such as parks, water parks, and museums. This experience strengthened my ability to multitask, communicate effectively, stay patient and attentive, maintain a safe environment, and provide engaging activities appropriate for each child’s age and abilities.

My experience with special needs children...
I’ve cared for 5 year old who was deaf in one year and hard of hearing in the other ear. I helped her to start communicating and even saying a couple words. I’ve also have experience with working with a 14 year old boy who was 24 hour care. Feedings, changing , bathing. He was completely wheelchair bound. He couldn’t speak but I knew when he had an attitude and is upset he’s just like other kids.
