I'm Trina! With 11 years of experience in babysitting and 7 years as a full-time nanny, I have developed a profound understanding and love for this profession. I'm 25 and have worked with children of all ages, which has greatly enriched my life and the lives of the families I have worked with. "Trina was the best nanny! my two children loved her so much! she truly cared for my kids, myself and my husband. she focused on what interested my children and incorporated new activities into their daily routine, she cared for the home and always tidied up. she was so good with our dog as well, always let him outside and went on walks with my children and our dog. she put 110% effort into her work and made it known through so many ways that she cared for our family and wanted our daughters to be well educated, well rounded and of course happy! she was a very hands on nanny, never allowed too much screen time, she saved that for rainy days. she would get my children involved in the kitchen and used a montessori approach. books, art and nature were her main focuses for learning and teaching our children really enjoyed her as their nanny!"

I was an intern at an elementary school where o aided a first grade class.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities I love to with kids include reading, drawing, making crafts, science experiments, dance parties and every now and then a movie if the weather isn’t as great. I prefer being outdoors with kids where we could explore different parks and see a bunch of cool things outside. The fresh air is also super great so I try to have at least an hour outside.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being there for kids and being able to take care of and nurture them as if they were your own. It’s teaching as well as learning and I feel so honored to do so.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with kids with adhd and cerebral palsy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I was nannying a 4 year old little girl and I took her to the shedd aquarium downtown and she had the time of her life. She cried when I had to go home that day, we bonded so much during this experience together.
