Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite activity to do with the children I nanny is taking them outside to explore and play. I love teaching them about nature and helping them discover the world around them. Seeing their excitement, curiosity, and happiness when they are free to run, play, and learn outdoors is incredibly rewarding. Watching them enjoy simple moments in nature and grow through those experiences is what makes this activity so special to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is creating a loving, stable environment where children can thrive. I believe strong routines help children feel secure and confident, while also providing structure for learning and growth. It is important to me that the children in my care receive the love, attention, and support they need every day. I also believe that learning happens in every moment, whether through play, daily activities, or new experiences. No matter how big or small the lesson may be, I strive to help children learn, explore, and develop their skills. Watching their minds grow and knowing I am contributing to their development is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

While I have not yet had the opportunity to provide one-on-one care for a child with special needs, I have learned a great deal through my connections with teachers and school staff who work closely with special needs children. They have educated me on the importance of patience, understanding, adaptability, and providing individualized support. Through these conversations, I have gained valuable insight into the level of care, attention, and compassion that special needs children may require. I am eager to continue learning and am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for every child in my care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny is being able to support a child through different stages of their development, especially when they are learning independence. It can be difficult for children when a parent leaves for work or when they are adjusting to new routines, and I love being able to provide a safe, comforting presence during those moments. It is incredibly rewarding when a child feels secure enough to come to me for comfort and trust me as part of their support system. I also enjoy watching their growth and progress as they learn new things, gain confidence, and become more curious about the world around them. Being able to teach them, encourage them, and help them discover new things makes nannying so meaningful to me.
