I was a chaperone at a fair event, for kids to hold the animals and pet them, so I was having to deal with all ages at once in large groups, and also helped watch kids at vacation Bible School for summer vacation.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depending on the age range is what activities I would do, but I love activities that involve, educational and Hands-On learning. I love going outside and being outgoing teaching about nature teaching about senses and allowing them to see just how smart and fun some thing can be that others don't, like making it a adventure when going for a walk and or making it very fun at snack time by making very cool themed foods, that's a brief example of some activities that I like to incorporate in the day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most important things to me about being a nanny is making the kids feel safe and at home as much as I could because I've known many people and kids that went to places they felt uncomfortable at because their family was not there and I love to make people feel as much as at home or family as they can. Especially being a mother now myself and have dealt with kids for so long that would be the last thing I want for my son is to feel not at home around somebody that's supposed to keep him safe, feel welcomed, and that he can be himself and feels happy and comfortable to be around somebody that is not family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments i can remember is seeing how happy some kids get when learning new things and trying new things and seeing that they're good at it or it makes them happy to do it, one thing I love to see my 10-month-old do is when he achieves a new task that he's been trying so hard at he gets so excited when he starts getting the hang of it or when he finally can do it he's currently learning to stand and walk and that is one of the most precious things to see and get to be a part of.
