I currently work as an elementary school teacher. Before becoming an educator I was a co-director for a child care center primarily with infants and toddlers. I have many years of experience with children of all ages, stages and needs!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a large variety of activities. From homework help and chores to arts and crafts. I'm a former collegiate athlete so I have no issue being/playing outside and engaging with children to spur their imagination and encourage being active.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Working with children is incredibly rewarding. Ever since I was a child, I knew that I would be a teacher and that I would spend my life helping, working with, and in some way impacting the lives of little people. Supporting and encouraging children is a huge responsibility, not one to be taken lightly and I consider it very much a privilege to be able to help families in this way. Trusting someone to watch and care for your child/children is a big deal and I'm happy to be able to provide a service that I not only enjoy but also means so much to the families I serve.

I have a degree in Elementary Education and also have a certification in Special Education. Over the course of my career I have worked with young children and students with autism, anxiety, and those needing support with social emotional skills.
