21 year old college student also serves part time in the National Guard. Grew up helping my mom raise two very young children, also spent time instructing elementary school while in JROTC so I'm no stranger when it comes to dealing with kids. My peers have always considered me mature and a leader of some sort, even in the military. I believe that my experience growing up with and instructing children you cant go wrong with giving me a shot.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

since around the age of 11 I helped watch and care for 2 younger siblings who are both now fine and well preteens. While in the JROTC high school program twice a year we would visit the local elementary school and we would teach, watch over, and instruct our own class. ( Two students were assigned to one class).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Spending so much time growing up around children i understand its my purpose to listen to and help children figure out what they enjoy so I'm comfortable with any activities. Whether it be arts and craft, drawing, or even video games.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a role model for children honestly. Its important for children to be around people that they can trust, look up to, and model certain behaviors from and that trust must be genuinely earned.

My experience with special needs children...

While in JROTC I would spend time with special needs children at my school. That's about it though no real care giving.
