Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done a lot of volunteer work with children in the past. With orphans specifically. I used to go to a private school that honored their values through helping those who need it the most. Groups of students would spend a lot of time with children from all ages playing, and reading, making it a very special time for them since most of them do not have families or were taken from their families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depending on their age, I like to play fun word games to expand their knowledge and give them more confidence when talking. Most of the children I have worked with love conversation, so I like to tell them a phrase and let them finish it with whatever they want. Children's creativity has no limits so I have heard all kinds of stories haha. Overall, I like to keep the games very educative to make sure they are always learning something meaningful, but at the same time keeping it very fun!
My experience with special needs children...
I have done voluntary work with down syndrome and autistic children. One of the most beautiful experiences I could have had. They have a beautiful way to see the world and like to speak their minds freely, which makes working with them very entertaining.
