Hello! My name is Valeria (Val) for short, I currently have my AS-T in Early Childhood Education from Butte College. I am currently at Chico State obtaining my BA in Child Development with a minor in Psychology. My minor started out as a small interest, but has grown into taking prerequisites for the MFT (Marriage + Family Therapy) Graduate Program here at Chico that I hope to be accepted into within the next few years. :) I enjoy learning about children, their attachment styles, how as adults we should listen to them so they will talk to us. I have enjoyed working with the “terrific” twos and have come to realize it is one of my favorite ages to work with!

I am also fluent in Spanish and am a frequent visitor of seeing my family in Central Mexico in Morelia Michoacán!
