More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve done plenty of volunteer work with kids at summer camps beginning from the age of 13! Also, being the middle child between my two older sisters I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews ranging from the ages of 1-8 years old. All of which I have been caregiver for since their birth on more than one occasion. I have experience in overnight nannying as well if needed for work trips and/or vacations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Kids today aren’t the way I remember being a kid! I love putting the magic back in a kiddos life. I’m a huge bookworm and I believe kids should never think it’s too late for a happily ever after, so I try to just have as much fun and inspire the magic in whatever time I have with them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with special needs youth and adults through a program called REM, which advocates for special needs rights and as well as residential supervised living for those with ID, So I have had plenty of interaction with the intellectually challenged and am totally comfortable with exploring new territory if I was thought to be a good fit! I have assisted in organizing many events for the group homes such as ice cream socials, movie nights, holiday celebrations, etc.
