More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have nannied for several wonderful families, primarily caring for infants and toddlers ages 1 month to 3 years. In addition, I spent a year working as a swim instructor, teaching children of all ages how to swim and develop proper stroke techniques. I also have experience working with children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love joining in on all kinds of activities whether it’s playing sports, painting nails, reading stories, or getting creative with art and coloring. I’m always excited to follow the child’s interests, especially when it allows them to express themselves, learn, and have fun safely.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As a nanny, I prioritize creating an approachable, supportive, and positive environment from the very beginning. I strive to remain patient, present, and attentive to each child’s individual needs, personality, and developmental stage. Building genuine connections is important to me, helping children feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care.
The importance of respecting and following the routines, expectations, and guidelines set by parents, ensures consistency and alignment with each family’s values. I take this role seriously and approach every responsibility with honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Being a nanny is a privilege, and it’s important for myself to give compassionate care that supports both children and their families.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children across the autism spectrum, as well as with children who have Down syndrome and ADHD. Much of this experience comes from my previous job as a swim instructor. Open water and swimming for children can feel intimidating, especially those with disabilities. Helping to build their confidence was very rewarding to see!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of working with children is watching their personalities shine as they begin to feel comfortable and open up. For some, this happens within minutes, and for others, it may take a few days but seeing that sense of trust grow is always special. As a nanny, building a genuine connection is important for me as it helps each child feel safe, supported, and confident in our time together :)

Hi! My name is Natani, and I was born and raised in Santa Barbara. I went to Bishop Diego High School and then committed to St. Lawrence University, where I played collegiate soccer.
I love being outside and staying active—surfing, playing sports, or just getting kids out in the fresh air and having fun. I am the middle of five half-sisters, so I’ve been around kids my whole life.
I’ve had experience caring for children and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them. Whether it’s helping with homework, keeping a routine on track, or just playing games and being silly, I’m happy to do it all. I’m patient, energetic, and easygoing, but I also know how important it is to be dependable and attentive.
I’m also more than happy to help with things like light meal prep, tidying up, or driving to activities if needed. Overall, I would love to help. :)
