More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Growing up, I would watch my mother take care of my little sister. When she was busy, I often found myself taking over her role. Because I was a nurturer at heart, I would also babysit cousins, from infants to toddlers, growing with them as much as I helped fostered growth for them.
Working in an art therapy studio, I assisted therapists with children in creative activities for emotional expression, communication, and development, learning how to meet and adapt to their individual needs. I learned how to engage with children with compassion and empathy as well as have fun with them doing art!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoors, I enjoy homemaking activities in the kitchen, arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play, yoga and nervous system toning.
Outdoors, I enjoy going to the park, playing barefoot in the grass, taking walks and teaching kids the connection between humans and nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trustworthy, foundational relationship that helps the child feel secured and cared for. At the end of the day, it is all about the heart, having that ability to offer unconditional love to another child with the hopes it'll offer nourishment to their little souls. Nothing beats the smile and laugh of a child when they are happy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable moment was getting a baby to soothe down by putting her ear to my heartbeat where she eventually fell asleep.
