More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive experience caring for children in a variety of settings. After college, I worked as a substitute teacher for four years, gaining hands-on experience with children of different ages and personalities. I also cared for toddlers at Dynamic Fitness Gym while their parents worked out, ensuring a safe and fun environment. As the oldest of four siblings, I grew up helping raise my three younger sisters, which taught me responsibility and patience from an early age. Most recently, for the past 3 years, I worked as an ABA therapist, where I was honored to be the most preferred therapist by the children I worked with. Caring for kids comes naturally to me, and I truly enjoy creating a supportive, nurturing space where they can learn and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me as a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel understood and cared for. I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building genuine trust..not just with the children, but with their parents as well. To me, it’s not only about keeping kids safe and meeting their needs, but also about helping them grow, celebrating their milestones, and making them feel truly seen. I want parents to know that when their child is with me, they are with someone who will treat them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I would give my own family. 🙏🏻
My experience with special needs children...
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)
Nonverbal or limited speech needs
Behavioral challenges (such as aggression, tantrums, or difficulty with transitions)
Developmental delays
Social and communication difficulties
Children needing support with potty training and daily living skills

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable moments as a caregiver was with a little boy who was nonverbal and often felt misunderstood. Over time, he built such a strong bond with me that I became his “bestie” and the person he trusted most. I worked patiently with him, encouraging him to use words to express his needs instead of turning to behaviors. One day, he surprised everyone by saying “Mommy” to his mother for the very first time.. something she hadn’t heard since he was born. It brought her to tears, and it was such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful patience, trust, and love can be in a child’s growth.
