I looked after my sister since she was 4 years old since my mom passed away.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Teaching them indoor and outdoor activities thats fun and also for brain development. Reading books to them (this one is my personal favorite since I get to be animated to hold their attention longer. Depending on their age I'd help them become independent beings by teaching them to clean up after themselves or do little things around the house (only if this is preferred by the parents)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Patience patience and lots of love and warmth. I feel like the few hours parents entrust their kids to you is so precious since it takes so much courage to do that. It's important for me to not let the parent's expectation down in anyway. Since I love kids so much this job won't feel like a job. 🙂
