More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive childcare experience as a Childcare Assistant Teacher at a Moreno Valley home daycare and a Camp Counselor at Camp Conrad Chinnock. At the daycare, I cared for children aged 6 months to 5 years, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment while leading activities that supported cognitive, social, and physical development. I also maintained attendance and progress records and communicated with parents to provide updates and address concerns.
As a Camp Counselor, I have cared for 6-17 year-old campers, leading activities like hiking, crafts, and team-building exercises. I also monitored the medical needs of type 1 diabetic campers, tracking blood glucose levels and ensuring proper care. These roles have strengthened my ability to provide responsible, engaging childcare while fostering a fun and supportive environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do a lot of activities with kids, some of which are playing games, teaching them fun activities, doing crafts and small puzzles, teaching them about little wonders adults so often take for granted, and teaching them to play the basics of sports. If I am being honest though, my favorite activities are the ones the kids passionately drag you into, whether it be a spontaneous tea party or a silly made-up game they rig so that they always win.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part about being a nanny is being able to build connections with the kids, help them learn, and aid the parents in helping them grow into the amazing human beings they will be one day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have not been a nanny before but my favorite moment while working at a daycare was with this one 4 year old boy with autism, who was labeled a problem child. He was really sweet but no one ever put in enough effort into helping him for him for him to thrive. I loved spending time with this kid though, he was amazing despite his struggles with anger and self control. I was months into working with him and there were only a few kids that day, so I had a minute to sit down with him to do a puzzle and it was the smallest thing but he sat down quietly the entire time, was able to properly communicate when he got frustrated, stayed focused despite consistent distractions, and told me about his spiderman themed birthday party coming up in such a calm yet passionate way. When I realized that he couldn't do any of this a couple months ago, and the child genuinely seemed happy for the first time in a long time, I felt proud that I'd finally formed such a strong connection with the kid.
