I have experience as a behavioral technician, working with children on the spectrum. I would engage in daily data analysis, educational play as well as but not limited to monitoring a child’s behavior.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going to the park allowing children to burn off their energy, reading books and doing art projects as well as listening to music and allowing children to enjoy their creativity through sound. I also enjoy cooking for children as it expands their variety of taste all the while being nutritionally satisfying. I am a mother who believes that children should be allowed to express themselves creatively and have no problem aiding them safely accomplish this. I enjoy museum and aquarium trips as it expands their knowledge of the world around them all the while being enjoyable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Allowing a child to be a child is one of the most important things to me. Children get needy, upset, happy and tired, so learning how to effectively express their (many) emotions is very important to me and allowing a child to experience everyday happiness is also very important to me. Learning can be fun and it is fundamental for growth so reading, writing and effective expression of emotions is very important to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children on the spectrum with autism. Caring for a child with special needs is no different than caring for your average child, every child experiences expression quite similar however those with special needs may need a little guidance with expression and that is no problem.
