More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

One of my experiences caring for children was helping out at my grandma’s daycare, where I gained hands-on experience being around children, helping with their daily needs, and making sure they were safe, comfortable, and cared for. This experience helped me develop patience, responsibility, and a better understanding of how important it is to give children attention, affection, and a positive environment. I enjoy being involved in children’s activities, helping them learn, and making sure they feel happy and secure. Along with my caregiving experience working with people of all ages with disabilities, I believe I can bring compassion, attentiveness, and reliability to a nanny position.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities with children, such as reading storybooks, coloring, doing arts and crafts, singing songs, dancing, and playing interactive games. I also enjoy outdoor activities like going for walks, playing at the park, and exploring nature. With younger children, especially toddlers, I enjoy sensory play, building blocks, simple learning activities, and helping them develop new skills through play. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged, so I always aim to make activities fun while supporting their creativity, learning, and development!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is making sure a child feels safe, loved, understood, and cared for, even when their parents aren’t around. Being a nanny is about building trust with both the child and their family, being patient and dependable, and creating a positive environment where children can learn, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves. I also believe it’s important to respect the parents’ routines and values, communicate openly, and treat every child with kindness and compassion. To me, being a nanny means becoming someone a family can genuinely trust and someone a child can count on every day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working as a caregiver for individuals of all ages with disabilities, which has helped me develop patience, compassion, understanding, and the ability to adapt to each person’s unique needs. I understand the importance of providing individualized care, maintaining routines, communicating clearly, and creating a safe, supportive environment. I believe every child deserves to feel loved, included, respected, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. I would bring a caring, attentive, and dependable approach to working with children with special needs while following their parents’ instructions and care routines. I also have my fingerprint clearance card and caregiving certifications.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments caring for children was seeing how even the smallest things, like playing together, reading a story, or helping them learn something new, could make such a big difference in their day. I love the feeling of a child becoming comfortable around you, trusting you, and getting excited to share their little discoveries with you. Those moments remind me that childcare is about so much more than just watching children; it’s about making them feel safe, loved, understood, and supported. Being someone a child can feel comfortable with and look forward to seeing is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for children, and it’s something I would always cherish as a nanny. ❤️
