My experience with special needs children...
I have had the pleasure of spending lots of time with my 25 year old grandson. He was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Autism. I have learned so very much from him and his friends. He is so very kind and sweet. And so very intelligent. He owned the key to my heart. Of course I know that typically some special needs children/adults do experience frustrations. And from time to time they have melt downs. I have learned how to calm them down when possible. I know so many of this unique kids love, love music. They do not like loud noises. They are very special. And deserve to be treated as such.
