I have 4 years of live out Nanny experience. Most recently, I’ve done a share care for 2 boys in NOPA. Before this, I’ve worked three summers at various kids camps. I’ve also worked as an assistant teacher at United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay’s Cypress School, a school for disabled children. My responsibilities have included maintaining safety, facilitating participation in schoolwork and chores, incorporating child lead exploration, planning creative and fun activities for the day and encouraging compassionate communication development. I’m also comfortable preparing and cooking healthy, picky-eater-friendly meals and tidying around the house.
I’ve also worked at a nonprofit supporting disabled people reach their personal, health and lifestyle goals. Two of the individuals I worked with were older women with mobility impairments who I supported running errands with, organizing medical appointments and cleaning around their house.
