I currently work at Serrano Elementary school with kids as young as pre k to as old as 6th grade. I am a daycare worker and have been working in this field for about a year. I plan on continuing in working in this career field as it is a really fun and rewarding job to have working with children as well as caring for them.

I enjoy coloring, drawing, finding new ways to introduce new foods such as vegetables, finding creative ways besides being on electronics to be entertaining and going for walks or going to local parks.

Something that is really important about being a nanny is communicating and trying to understand a child’s need to the best ability possible. It is really important to show a child how to communicate their needs. Another important part about being a nanny is being patient with both the children and the parents/caregivers. I really value care, communication and patience and think it is the best way to build strong friendships with the family.
