I was a Para Professional for the ISD318 school district for 2 years. I got my AA in Early Childhood Education. I worked at the YMCA Weefolks for 1.5 years. Nannied for a neighbor family for 6 years (practically family). This child has Downs Syndrome. I did 1 year of a paid college work experience.

I remember the moment when I was nannying and after 3 summers the little girl I was watching that had Downs Syndrome finally was able to swing herself on the swing. The look on her face was priceless. She was so excited to tell her mom when she got home from work that day :)
