Hello! I'm Vince and I have had the high honor of caring for and shaping the minds of young children ages 1 to 4, including multiple children, and special needs children ages 3 to late teenage for over 45 years. I am an amazing multi tasker, and have the great ability to accomplish household tasks while providing quality teaching and nurturing; developing the children's individual unique personality. I am an encourager- always attentive to all needs, teaching positive improvement of motor skills from "tummy time"/crawling through walking stages, reading and activities including arts and crafts. I have cared for ambulatory and non-ambulatory, wheelchair bound children with disabling physical, mental and medical conditions for over 30 years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

In 1989, one afternoon when I was caring for 17 month old twin boys, I was in the middle of the process of teaching them how to walk independently. I had just finished getting the second twin on his feet and released his hands, and he walked two steps over to his twin brother, held his hand. They both walked hand in hand over to their dachsund dog, reached down their other open hands to the dog, and the dog licked both of the twins' open hands! I wish that I'd had a camera or camcorder at the time to take a picture or video of that- it was so precious!
