More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at Norwalk emergency department. I was part of the emergency management team worked with children and teens often during crisis. I also held watch many times in our behavioral care unit. As well as raising my own children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Almost all outdoor activities, hiking exploring, teaching them how to ride bikes playing catch different type of exercise activities. There was a time I was a personal trainer and I had a sub specialty in youth fitness in nutrition, as well as a sub, specialty and martial arts conditioning doing different wood projects, crafts things like that that I enjoy doing with my children, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being an awesome role model, teaching respect, integrity, being reliable, being someone they can count on and trust

My experience with special needs children...

Unfortunately, my experience is limited to caring for friends, children, helping at different functions and restaurants and again back to my experience working in the emergency department. I help many special needs children and adolescence through crisis.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would have to say anytime I see the child do something for the first time that I taught them. It’s pretty amazing to watch them. Just continue doing things that they’re learning from you.
