With newborns and infants, I focus on creating a secure and loving environment through eye contact, facial mirroring, and gentle verbal interaction to support early brain development and bonding. I use cuddling and soothing physical connection to promote regulation and emotional security. Responsive care and consistent routines help foster trust and healthy attachment. I include daily stroller rides for fresh air and sensory stimulation, as well as tummy time, clutch toys, and reaching games to support fine and gross motor development. I also enjoy reading, singing, and playing soft music to encourage early language skills and deepen connection. With toddlers, I expand activities to include sensory play, music and movement, water play, and nature walks—all tailored to each child’s stage and personality

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve supported children with autism and developmental delays in both home and clinical settings during my RBT training. While I do not practice therapy independently, I gained valuable experience under licensed professionals, learning about sensory regulation, positive behavior reinforcement, and communication strategies. I also cared for a baby undergoing helmet therapy for torticollis, attending physical therapy sessions and following a treatment plan with specific stretches and exercises. This experience deepened my understanding of infant motor development and the importance of early intervention. I approach each child with patience, respect, and a thoughtful awareness of their individual developmental needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a baby learn to sleep through the night using a gentle and consistent routine. After weeks of working together, I began arriving in the mornings to well-rested, smiling parents—and a happy, well-slept baby. Seeing the whole family more refreshed and thriving reminded me how powerful and life-changing this kind of support can be. It’s moments like those that make me love what I do
