A little bit about me

I have many years of child care experience in addition to raising our daughter. I have passed a Federal background check. I have CPR training. I do not smoke. I have nursing experience. There is not much of anything that I have not seen or had to deal with as far as child care is concerned. In addition I love animals, cats, dogs, whatever. You can rest assured that your child(ren) would be well taken care of and I can provide references in that regard.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with families on an as-needed basis.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I let the child(ren) be the guide. Inside or outside activities are fine. I will get on the floor and put together railroad tracks or build thing with blocks, tinker toys or Legos. I especially like to help kids start learning to put puzzles together and reading to them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Giving parents the peace of mind that their child(ren) has been left in competent care. And working with the parents to establish a plan of care that works for everyone.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are many special moments. One at the top was working with the last parents to help their two children go from diapers to being potty trained.

I am a mother of three. I currently have two teenagers (boy and a girl) and a 7 year old son. I have had a passion to stay at home with my kids and have been able to help family members with babies out on occasion. I have teaching experience and have worked in various elementary schools in several areas. When my children were babies I was able to successfully get them to nap to ensure rest, balance, and a happier demeanor. I would be willing to work with parents on what they are comfortable with. as far as a schedule. I strive to live my life by Galatians 5:22 "... love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control". Thank you for your consideration.
