The most important part of being a nanny is providing an environment where the child/children are cared for and protected. I also think providing an environment where the parents can come home and relax from their day/night is just as important.

I Nannied for a family for 5-6 years and recently she called me out of the blue about a year after I moved away. She called to get my address and tell me she missed me. She wanted my address to send me her school pictures she had saved for me! :) That was probably the most touching thing I have experienced in a while.
