In addition, through my university fieldwork in Recreational Therapy, I worked with children in educational and therapeutic settings, where I planned age-appropriate activities, encouraged social interaction, supported children’s developmental needs, and maintained a safe, engaging environment. I do not have direct experience caring for children with special needs. However, through my Recreational Therapy education, I have learned about child development, inclusion, and the importance of adapting activities to meet individual needs. I am patient, compassionate, eager to learn, and willing to receive any training needed to provide the best possible care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are seeing a child’s excitement when they learn something new or accomplish a task on their own. It brings me joy and satisfaction to patiently guide children as they explore, learn, and grow. I enjoy supporting their development by encouraging their curiosity, building their language and communication skills, helping them understand and express their feelings, and providing opportunities to develop their senses and confidence through everyday experiences. Watching a child gain new skills and become more independent is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for them.
