More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have hands-on experience caring for children through both parenting and my university fieldwork. Raising my own children has given me extensive experience with children’s daily routines, safety, emotional support, meal preparation, homework assistance, and creating a nurturing environment.
In addition, through my university fieldwork in Recreational Therapy, I worked with children in educational and therapeutic settings, where I planned age-appropriate activities, encouraged social interaction, supported children’s developmental needs, and maintained a safe, engaging environment. I am patient, responsible, dependable, and committed to providing attentive, compassionate care for every child.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning activities based on each child’s age, interests, and stage of development. I believe that giving a child my full attention is one of the most important parts of providing quality care. I am attentive to each child’s needs, including their comfort, hygiene, safety, and emotional well-being.
For infants and toddlers, I enjoy talking and singing to them, reading books, encouraging sensory play, and engaging them with age-appropriate toys and activities that support their development. For older children, I enjoy reading together, playing with their favorite toys and games, doing arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, and encouraging creative and imaginative play.
I am a creative caregiver who values making the most of a child’s time by providing engaging, age-appropriate experiences that support learning, confidence, and healthy development while making sure they feel loved, safe, and understood.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I am a caring, patient, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys working with children. As a parent and a Recreational Therapy student, I understand the importance of creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and feel supported. I value open communication with families, respect each family’s routines and parenting preferences, and always strive to provide dependable, compassionate care. I look forward to building a trusting relationship with your family.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have direct experience caring for children with special needs. However, through my Recreational Therapy education, I have learned about child development, inclusion, and the importance of adapting activities to meet individual needs. I am patient, compassionate, eager to learn, and willing to receive any training needed to provide the best possible care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are seeing a child’s excitement when they learn something new or accomplish a task on their own. It brings me joy and satisfaction to patiently guide children as they explore, learn, and grow. I enjoy supporting their development by encouraging their curiosity, building their language and communication skills, helping them understand and express their feelings, and providing opportunities to develop their senses and confidence through everyday experiences. Watching a child gain new skills and become more independent is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for them.
