A little bit about me

Hello I am 60 years old and a mother of six. I am currently working at a church daycare. The people at the daycare are very nice, and the kids are really cute. But I tend to believe that 2-year-olds just don't get enough attention you can't really teach them enough you can't take care of them the way they should be taken care of when there's nine of them. I would like to take care of children in my home which has so many toys and books and dress-up area and everything you need for children that I've collected over the years and I'm still collecting LOL. I would like to be able to take care of a couple kids one or two kids and teach them and have enjoyable days learning and doing. I like doing things with the children that is what I have done my whole life my family is my life and taking care of children is my heart. I did Lee Virtual School from the end of kindergarten through second grade with my grandson and we really enjoyed it. I hope you would consider me. Thank you

Hi, my name is Desi! I am 20 years old and I attend FGCU majoring in psychology, with a minor in early childhood education. All my life I have always wanted to work with kids. I started helping my neighbor with her at home daycare at 10 years old. I then went on to work at a summer camp and then moved up to assistant daycare teacher. It all started from there. I have 3 foster sisters, 10, 9, and 2. My parents took them in at the beginning of covid, and we’ve had them ever since and are currently going through adoption. I helped raise the baby when we got her, she was only 5 weeks old! My mom told me she was to old to get up in the middle of the night every night, so I stepped up at age 18, and slept with the baby 5-6 nights out of the week. I also babysat for my mom everyday, those kids have my heart. Working with kids just gives me a warm loving feeling inside. Being able to have an influence on someone and watching them grow and develop makes me so happy.
