My favorite moment I've had as a nanny was when I witnessed a 3 yr old I was working with realize that the numbers in her head, connected to the world around her. That she couldn't just count to 10, that she could count 10 coins, 10 crayons, 10 bowes! It was just one of those special light bulbs moments we get to witness when working with kids
