Hello, my name is Willow but you can call me your future nanny! I would describe myself as compassionate, flexible, and driven. I love working with kids because I have a natural caring and maternal personality. I care deeply about making sure every child feels safe and loved in my care and that is a very rewarding job!

I started working with kids professionally when I was 16 as a nanny, 7 years later and I am still loving it! I am open to caring in an array of parenting styles and find it important to respect those boundaries. My skills include being able to care for multiple children with different care needs. I have worked with ages 0-12 as well as children with special needs. My most recent experience has been in the infant room at of a daycare, caring for up to 10 babies ages 2-8 months as well as a personal placement with a 5 month old.

I love outdoor activities like playing ball games, pretend games, nature walks, and anything involving sunshine! While that’s not always possible in our rainy state I also love getting creative with indoor activities.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is respecting and implementing the parenting style of the family I am working with. Proper communication and understanding between employees and employers is the foundation for an amazing nanny placement! For the child the most important part of childcare is how they feel and of course how much fun they have!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with 2 non verbal autistic children ages 3 and 4. I also have personal experience growing up with an autistic brother and volunteering at my schools special needs classes.
