I did volunteer for Metropolitan Ministries a long time ago after my kids were all in school. I watched the babies while the Mothers look for work.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, baking cookies, nature trips. Use to visit Nanny’s Farm in the Lutz area to see the animals. Pool time and according to age the library had different activities.. not sure about that now.

I think my favorite memory was when I was taking care of one of my favorite little girls name Angelina. I started taking care of her when she was about a year old and I called her girlfriend one day and she just started calling me that and if anyone asked my name she would say this is girlfriend. She’s 13 now and I’m still Girlfriend! It makes me laugh every time.
