A little bit about me

I'm a licensed elementary school teacher and have taught in public education for the past 19 years. Prior to getting my master's degree I worked at the EWEB child development center for a year in the infant and toddler rooms. I know that the quality of experiences kids have, even from a very young age, play a critical role in establishing neural connections in the brain that will significantly impact their future. Kids build self confidence starting at a very young age when they're allowed to do things themselves with the right amount of support. They can also enjoy learn how good It feels to helping clean up. My own children are now 12 and 14. I love working with babies and kids and am passionate about sharing music, art, nature, dance, stories and so much more. I am fluent in Spanish and play guitar. I'm very patient, creative and will most definitely leave your house cleaner than when I arrived. I look forward to talking with you to see if we may be a good fit.
