The most important part of being a nanny is being the person who the kids can be comfortable and have fun with while they’re parents aren’t there. I have had my fair share of bad sitters that made me just miss my parents the whole time they were gone and I really try and feel like I am the person who does not make the kids feel like that. Being a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent to, a helping hand with school or sports, anything. that keeps them having fun and not thinking about they’re favorite people being gone!
