Family Daycare during highschool , After school I would work at my cousins In-Home Daycare Center from 3:00 pm until 7:00pm. I would help prep children’s dinner & feed some of the infants. I would also change the infants & toddlers & also potty train them. We would do small activities until the parents picked up there children.
I also worked at KidzStuff after I graduated High-school in 2021 & had a wonderful 2 years assisting teachers & staff with children from grade levels kindergarten until 3rd Grade.

I would say the most important part about being a nanny is to make sure that the time is well spent for the Children, Parents & Myself as the nanny. I want everyone to get the most out of the task at hand. Being a nanny isn’t just a job to me, It’s a livelihood.

I have an autistic uncle & I also have a 5 year old Non-Verbal cousin. I’ve learned with children with autism is just having patience. Patience is key & being resilient.

I would say my favorite Nanny moment is when the children don’t want me to leave. It’s so cute & heartwarming to me. It shows me that I’m doing my job more than right. I love being a safe space for children & their families also. Caring for your child means I have to care about their parents as well.
