A little bit about me

My name is Zakariya, preferably Kari. I am 19 and going to be starting college in the summer to obtain a degree in Human Services. My dream is to work with children. I assume I get it from my mother who is a teacher. I would like to be a recreational therapist. I've been working in customer service and retail for the past 3 years. As I've been finding myself and growing as an individual I noticed I miss working with children and the joy that comes with it not only for me but them as well. We believe we are teaching children but really they are the ones teaching us and helping us to mature and grow everyday. I enjoy doing arts and crafts in my free time as well as exploring nature. I am very innovative and a quick problem solver. I love learning how to do new things. A new hobby that I've been starting to get into is cooking. Happiness is my top priority so I try my best to radiate it always!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I brought a child to an event at my church called Hallelujah Night which is the church's version of a halloween celebration. There were indoor jumping castles, face painting, games, and lots of candy to be won as well as given out. I love when children successfully do things and you can see how proud they are of themselves.
