A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Zama! I’m 31 and originally from South Africa. I speak English and isiZulu, and I’ve been around children pretty much my whole life. I started helping care for my cousins’ children when I was very young, and I also cared for my sister’s newborn after he came home from the hospital. I later came to the U.S. as an au pair and now have 9 years of professional caregiving experience.

I’m bubbly, playful, and easygoing, but I also know when to be calm and serious. I love teaching children little things that help them become confident and independent, while still making sure they feel safe, loved, and supported. I’m also currently studying nursing, so caring for people is truly a big part of who I am. ❤️
