One of my most memorable nanny moments was when I was taking care of a young child who was initially really shy and reserved. We spent a lot of time playing together, doing puzzles, and reading books, but she wasn’t very verbal at first. One afternoon, we were sitting in the living room, building a tower with blocks, when she suddenly looked up at me, smiled, and said, "I love you."
