More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve gained experience by caring for my younger siblings and cousins over the years, and for the past year, I’ve been regularly babysitting a one-year-old. I’ve learned how to handle different ages and routines
with care and patience.
with care and patience.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing Uno or Coloring with children. it’s really fun and you can sit down and get to know the children better! Outdoor activities like playing a simple game of tag.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is knowing that a child has been trusted in my care. It is my job to make sure the child is safe, fed, and taken care of. But I also want children to feel comfortable talking to me about their feelings or anything that is going on in their lives. I believe every child deserves to be heard, seen, and loved. So the most important part about being a nanny to me is making sure that every kid is loved and seen!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments happened a couple of months ago! I was babysitting the one-year-old I’ve been caring for, and every time we’d walk into my house, she would say, “Bob.” At first, I was confused and started wondering — who’s Bob? I even asked her mom, but she didn’t know either. Days go past and i babysit the same kid again, we walked in my house, and my dog was there waiting for us. She pointed and said “Bob” again and that’s when it clicked! She was trying to say my dog’s name, Boss! She loves him, and it turns out that’s who she had been talking about the whole time. When I told her mom, we both couldn’t stop laughing. So we solved the mystery now we know who Bob really is!
