So , I’ve worked at about 3 daycares. I end up having to stop for school, and then on off season I’ll apply to other ones, to gain more experience! I’ve also worked for a babysitting company! I’ve traveled homes, and sometimes states! I’m happy to provide reference numbers for anyone , to past parents, or employers I’ve worked with!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything! :) (as long as it’s safe lol) I honestly don’t mind being outside for a long time , I don’t mind coloring, reading, crafting, tv stimulation, sensory activities, school work, singing, going to events. Anything that you desire your child to experience I’m more than happy doing so! :).
The most important part about being a nanny...
Gaining that connection with not only the child but also the parent. When the parent also enjoys having you around , and enjoys your energy, the child sees that and often times reflects that behavior as well. Being able to establish a trust worthy connection between us all is so important. I’m so thankful for all the people I’ve met and connections I’ve made! I’ve been able to see so many of my past kids grow up through pictures even after not being their baby for years! These types of relationships I feel so thankful for. I also love making a positive impact on that child’s life. These early years are so important! So plenty of communication work, love! , manners , and of course fun, because these years are so vital, to their character in the future.
