I’ve worked with children my whole life! I’ve done lots of volunteering with family, churches, and school programs that involve kids. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a natural ability to connect with children and keep them engaged in fun, age-appropriate activities. I’m passionate about creating a positive and safe environment for kids to learn, play, and have fun!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids engaged with creative, hands-on activities! Some of my favorites include arts and crafts like coloring, drawing, and painting, which allow kids to express their creativity. I also enjoy building with blocks or Legos, reading fun and educational stories, and playing games that encourage problem-solving and teamwork. Outdoor activities like going on nature walks, playing at the park, or organizing scavenger hunts are great for getting kids moving and exploring. Most of all, I love making sure they’re having fun while learning new things!

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow. It’s about building trust with both the kids and their parents, while also providing consistency, structure, and lots of fun. Being a nanny means understanding each child's unique personality and needs, while fostering their creativity, curiosity, and independence—all with patience, care, and kindness.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time, I was helping a little boy get ready for bed, and he insisted on wearing his superhero cape because, according to him, “Superheroes don’t need sleep, they fight bad guys all night!” After some negotiating, we compromised—he could wear the cape, but only if his teddy bear “sidekick” got to sleep in the bed too. Watching him tuck in his teddy and say, “Don’t worry, buddy, we’ll save the world tomorrow,” was just too adorable! Moments like that remind me why I love working with kids so much.
