More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a teacher at Gymboree Play & Music where I taught ages 0-5 years old how to crawl, walk, run, and use creative/imaginative play using songs, dancing, toys for encouragement, and fun equipment at the studio…also bubbles! I also am a Princess for birthday parties. I have been doing this for 3 years now!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor: crafts, singing, dancing, playing with toys, reading books, painting, safe and fun games, cooking/baking, yoga, movie nights when appropriate, board games, puzzles…
Outdoor: bike/scooter rides, walks around the neighborhood (great for putting babies to sleep), hoola hoops, bubbles, playing with toys outside/whatever outdoor structures are at the house, picnics, swimming (if they are good swimmers), and if permitted I am a great and safe driver to take them to fun activities in the town. With my last family, I took the kids to their swim classes and would take them to the park, to go get food, and other small errands.

I used to be a Wheelchair assistant in Elementary school and we would help kids with down syndrome get around school and playing together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is every night when I would have to leave and the little kid, Evan, said “Where are you going? Stay here, I don’t want you to leave.”
