I often end up watching kids for family friends or for my friends families. I once baby sat with a friend six kids all under 10. I also babysat overnight for the friends with a son on the autism spectrum.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
It all depends on what each kid enjoys. I love when kids are able to play pretend and they allow you into their little worlds. I also love taking kids to parks on nice days. If it's a day where the weather isn't nice I love staying inside and learning what each kids interest is. Whether it's reading, art, or playing with toys.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part is making sure each kid has space to grow and be themselves well at the same time the parents have someone they can trust to watch over them well they're out.
My experience with special needs children...
I have baby sat a few times for someone who's son was on the autism spectrum. I know it's not much but I am willing to learn how to care for someone with special needs.
