A little bit about me
I earned my MA in Teaching in 2017, primarily focusing on Language Arts/English in late elementary to middle school. I took courses in child development and special ed. Since earning my degree, I spent a long time working with animals, and am glad to be back to working with kids. I recently worked with 1-2 year olds and preschoolers.
Parents of children I have worked with report that I am described at home as a whole hill of fun. I believe in two rules: safe and kind, to both bodies and feelings; these words are the basis of my teaching and childcare philosophy. My secondary goal is for kids to have a great time and I strongly believe in the importance of play during critical development windows. The reviews are in: Teacher Kay rules!
I am CPR and first aid certified and registered/background checked with Oregon Dept of Early Learning and Care.
I’d love to hear from you!
With kindness,
KP

A little bit about me
I am very passionate about children and their development. I love music (I was a piano teacher for four years) and I love to teach children things through hands-on learning and music. I love the idea of natural play and learning by experience. I firmly believe that any child's caregivers play a large notable role in a child's life and I don't take this responsibility lightly.
I am also passionate about child integration into a new culture. I am currently studying Intercultural Studies at a private study abroad college in the Cities and I am very interested in working with families who are integrating cross culturally.
I am so excited to be your child's caregiver this summer!

A little bit about me
A little about me, I’m 19 and have been working with kids since as long as I can remember. I helped at a daycare down the street from me for 3 years. I’ve babysat for 5 family’s and still occasionally watch them when needed. I grew up with five sisters and one brother, me being one of the oldest I’m comfortable working with all ages of kids.
I have another job as a bartender so the hours would have to be a little flexible, but I’m totally okay working with you to get the best possible care for your child! (Or children)
I would love to help make your life a little easier and help where I can, that includes cleaning, meal prep and taking the kid(s) on outings if you’re comfortable with that.
