We are looking for a reliable, loving, and energetic nanny to care for our two children, Austin, age 3, and Adeline, 5 months old, in our home. We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys being with young children and can become a consistent and trusted part of our family's routine.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM and ending sometime between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, depending on our work schedules. Mom sometimes works from home in the late afternoons.
Responsibilities include:
Providing attentive, loving care for both children
Following Adeline's feeding and nap schedule, including preparing and handling breast milk and bottles
Diaper changes and general infant care
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
Planning age appropriate activities, including reading, crafts, learning activities, outdoor play, walks, parks and outings
Helping Austin continue learning and preparing for preschool
Transportation to activities, preschool or outings as needed
Keeping the children's rooms, play areas and common areas picked up throughout the day
Washing and putting away household dishes
Children's laundry as needed
Cleaning up after meals and activities
We are not looking for a housekeeper, but we would appreciate someone who naturally helps keep the house tidy during the day and cleans up after themselves and the kids.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, communicative, patient, nurturing and proactive. Reliability is extremely important since both parents work. We would love someone who takes initiative, gets the kids out of the house, comes up with fun activities and becomes someone they are excited to spend their days with.
Previous infant and toddler/preschool experience is preferred. Candidates should have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, be comfortable with breast milk and bottle feeding, be nonsmokers, and be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified. References will also be requested.

I work as an Emergency Medicine Physician- approximately 10-12 shifts per month that are 8-12hrs long. These shifts vary in time and day. I typically get my monthly schedule two months in advance- so you would have advance notice of varying shifts. I will be on maternity leave until early/mid October and am looking for coverage beginning at that time.
My husband is in investment banking- his schedule is much more predictable. Hours are M-F, approximately 7a-5:30p.
Ultimately, we’re looking for a part time nanny who is able to accommodate a varying schedule and provide in-home care when our work schedules overlap.
No nights required!
We have a very sweet 3 year old dog named Popcorn who will be around as well- there is a possibility we’d ask our nanny to please feed or let her out to potty- but nothing more. We are primarily interested in high quality care for our new little girl!
Overall, the schedule would likely be 12-13 days per month. 2-3 of those days will likely be weekend days. Each day would likely be 10-12 hours of in-home care. This can vary, but the hope is that we would be able to find an agreement of minimum/maximum monthly days with a narrow range.
